We love article marketing and the results it gets (who doesn’t want to be on the first few pages of Google for our keywords), but it’s important to remember that this doesn’t happen automatically. You have to work to make sure you get the results you want. You hear all the time–send to the best top-ranking sites–but how can you be sure to get those sites? Easy! Let’s show you how.

There! Now that you have found the best places to submit to, let’s discuss some tips for making the submission process easier, too.
We use a very handy tool called M8 Free Clipboard. It allows you to easily save the important parts of your article (title, summary, body of the article, bio, and so forth), onto the clipboard and then post each piece into the article submission sites. This allows you to avoid the tedious back-and-forth action normally required when copying and pasting between documents or sites. Once you have the information on the clipboard, you can easily move from one submission tab to the next without having to go back to your original document. Very handy! You can also utilize the M8 Free Clipboard for other things as well. We will often save our pitching templates onto it, or signatures for emails, and other repetitive items utilized in our business. This is definitely a time-saver.
One last tip on the article submission process is that once the sites post your article, you want to make sure you utilize your social bookmarking tricks to get the most out of it. Simply find where the article was accepted and then use the tools they provide to tweet it, share on Facebook, send it to Digg as well as any other social media sites you have a presence on. More is definitely better when it comes to a successful article marketing campaign.
