Podcasting. Many business owners listen and subscribe to the podcasts of others. Many business owners have been interviewed on the podcasts of others. Some even host their own – very successful shows!
Are you Podcasting?
There are also many of us who don’t host our own podcasts, but would love to. So what’s stopping us? Oftentimes I hear people say they don’t know enough about podcasting to be able to host and produce their own. Others say they are intimidated by the process, or no … they just couldn’t do it themselves, even though they would love to. Which camp are you in?A blast from the past as @DarleneVictoria and I chat about hosting your own podcast.
More and more people are hosting their own podcasts now. Not only do they provide great information in a format that makes it easy even for super busy people on the go to access, but they are a great way to market your business and even collaborate.
So, I’m delving a bit into the archives here, but one of the best ways I know to provide great information about how to start your own podcast is by sharing one of my last interviews on Blab (You remember Blab don’t you?). In this last episode of the BizEase Blab, my guest, Darlene Victoria and I discussed the value and benefit of podcasting and hosting your own podcast.
On the show Darlene and I discuss:
why you as a business owner, (speakers and coaches specifically) should consider launching your own podcast
- whether or not there are any reasons why a business owner should not or would not host their own podcast
- some of the main tasks and processes involved in hosting and producing a podcast
and of course, how an online marketing support team like ours can help and support speakers and coaches with their podcasting efforts
