I’m finding all kinds of cool software, tools and apps to share with you lately. A couple of them have actually been recommendations from others. Last week I told you about RecurPost, a free social media scheduling app that recycles evergreen content, recommended by one of my team members. This week’s is a very unique (and reasonably priced) CRM tool recommended by a prospective client, called Cloze. It’s the little beauty I mentioned in the Monday Marketing BizTip – on Tuesday live video I did.
I’m always talking about repurposing your content and promoting it on social media … not just once, but over and over again. The thing is, we have all this great evergreen content, so posting it on your blog once – never to be seen again, is a waste of good content.
Well you can … as many as you want, easily, and FREE! When I heard there was a way to include more than one clickable link in your Instagram profile, I had to hear more. So I checked it out.
Do you send cards or notes to clients and prospective clients? Do you send handwritten notes and cards or do you use a system like Send Out Cards?
Don’t worry … this really IS about marketing, and I’ll get to the “did you know” part in a bit 😉
Many of you know I’ve been searching for the perfect to-do list app or program for quite a while now. I’ve tried quite a few of them, but nothing has rocked my boat. I need an up close in my face solution that’s in front of me all the time. You know the old saying “out of sight, out of mind?” Well that’s how it’s been with all of the previous so called “solutions” I’ve found.
Back in 2012, Hubspot reported that “there are 3.4 million emails sent every second.” That was 4+ years ago, I can only imagine how many emails are sent ever second now.
After viewing my Inbox post on Black Friday, Cyber Monday and then Green Monday, I can totally believe that.
Business professionals are continually trying to come up with new ideas for just about anything related to marketing; from adding to their email marketing list to gaining new followers on social media. But there is one tool they are already using on a daily basis that can be tweaked and improved in order to enhance all of the above efforts – their email signature.
Every now and then I come across an app or resource that just floats my boat to the max. The Send to Kindle plugin for WordPress is one of those little beauties. It’s been around for a while, but it’s still a favorite … and one I use quite frequently.
So many people today have Kindles, and many of us (me included) would prefer to read just about everything on our Kindle. Well now we can.
Terry’s top 9 Browser Extensions!
There are several web browsers to choose from now-a-days, but my web browser of choice is Chrome … and has been for a while. It’s easy to use, but it also has some great browser extensions you can add to make it super easy to do things on the fly.
There are also lots and lots of browser extensions you can add to Chrome (and other browsers) that simplify things and add additional features and functions to enhance your browsing experience.
It takes a lot of work to run a business. Turns out it’s not just about the joy of doing what you love to do — coaching or speaking — the reason you went into business to begin with. There are also a lot of back end components and things you have to do to keep it running; like bookkeeping, invoicing, keeping track of all of your contacts and clients, email marketing, you name it. It takes one heck of a business system to keep everything humming along. Just thinking about all of the different pieces of software and programs and apps you need to pull it all off is enough to put any small business owner’s head in a tailspin. But then you have to learn how to use each piece, and then … what about all of the time it takes to actually implement such a business system?
