I’m in a couple of what I’d like to think are strategically selected Facebook Groups. For the most part they are great groups, and I like each one of them for specific reasons. When things are done correctly, they can be very advantageous for networking, building relationships and sharing knowledge.

Practice Cell phone Etiquette: Cell phones and Smartphones are firmly woven into the fabric of our business lives. Good cell phone etiquette includes lowering your voice when on a call, never taking a call while you are already engaged in a face-to-face conversation, and silencing your ringer during important business presentations or events. If you are in a restaurant and have to take an important call, take it outside. Just because a call may be important to you, doesn’t mean it’s an acceptable practice to disturb the dining experience of others. [Read more…]
