Last Thursday’s post was about three mobile apps for the busy road warrior. After reading the post, one of my clients sent me an email to share five of HER favorite mobile apps. Great apps, so I thought I’d share three of them in this week’s post.
We can never have too many apps of any kind, right?
One Note: One Note is Microsoft’s answer to Evernote. While Evernote is still my application of choice, my client’s reasons for using OneNote make sense. Since it’s a Microsoft product, she can access the app through Office 365. It’s also a free download for both the Android and iPhone. If you already use Evernote, but aren’t a big fan like I am, OneNote will transfer all of your information from Evernote to OneNote for free!
Certify: My client’s company used to use Expensify, but switched to Certify because they believe it’s a better mobile app, and their customer service is better. She is an expert in Sales Tax and Tax technology, so she should know! One very nice feature is the app integrates with QuickBooks Desktop! The Certify Now! plan for a company with 1-25 employees is $8 per user/month.
Waze: According to Wikipedia, “Waze, is GPS navigation software that works on smartphones and tablets with GPS support and provides turn-by-turn navigation information and user-submitted travel times and route details, while downloading location-dependent information over a mobile telephone network. Waze describes its app as a community-driven GPS navigation app, which is free to download and use. Available for both Android and iPhone.” I think they nailed the description, so I’ll leave it at that!
So there you have it … three more awesome little gems to help busy entrepreneurs and road warriors get the most out of their day during busy times, while on the road or in the office. What do you think?
If you have any others that make YOUR life and business easier, let me know in a comment. I’d love to hear about them!
