For many of us, Facebook is the social media platform where our target market and ideal clients hang out. In light of this, we’re always trying to find the best ways to market our businesses on this ever changing platform. With the constant “tweaks” Facebook makes to its algorithms, it is increasingly difficult to reach your target market. Your organic reach keeps shrinking, and it seems as if all of our efforts are for naught.
So what do you do?
Yes, you can (and should) post on your Facebook page, but that doesn’t ensure everyone who wants to see your stuff will. However, if you create a Facebook Group targeting your ideal client and those who really do want to see your content, then you can have the confidence that those who join your group will always see your content. And, unlike a Facebook Page where you are posting content AT your followers and hoping they see your posts and engage with you, a Facebook group will provide an opportunity to create a community of loyal followers who will engage with you and the other members, and support your community-building and marketing efforts.Facebook groups provide an opportunity to create a community of loyal followers!Click To Tweet
You get to decide who has access to your Facebook group. It can be an open group that is searchable, and anyone can find and join. It can be a private group anyone can find, but requires approval by a group admin to join. Or, you can have a secret group that is not searchable and cannot be found, for courses or clients that require a personal invitation with a link to the group.
