I get lots and lots of email … every day, from business owners in a multitude of industries. And, one of the most common similarities I see across all of these various industries is that the vast majority of business owners are missing out on a very simple and effective marketing tool – their email signature!
Yes, most of them have the basic information like their name, title, phone number and email address. Some even add a link to their website (smart!). However, what about all of your other information?

It’s free, it goes out with every single email you send, and it’s typically where people will look first to find out more about you. A great way to make the most out of your email signature is with a sweet little add-on called WiseStamp. WiseStamp lets you create different signatures for different email address, so it’s quite versatile … with a gallery of several different formats to choose from.
The format I chose to use includes my:
- photo (everyone wants to see who they are communicating with)
- company name
- phone number
- email address
- social media icons to connect with me on social media AND a call to action for people to sign up for my tips ezine.
A lot of information in a small amount of space … yet it provides all of the information anyone needs to find out what they need to know about me in an aesthetically pleasing and professional way. What’s really nice is that you can change your information on the fly, which works well for promoting new freebies, events and other time-sensitive information.
There is a free version of WiseStamp as well as a Pro version for a whopping $4 a month. I personally chose to do the Pro version because of the extras. Either way, it’s a pretty nifty add-on.
