A Zoom call this morning was inspiration for today’s Monday Marketing BizTip. I had a lovely call with Andrea Hunt Raco. We’re in a couple of Facebook groups together – including one she personally runs. Being the great connector Andrea is (I think it’s one of her super powers), she has introduced me to a couple of people who’ve turned out to be great connections. I was very privileged to be interviewed on one person’s podcast a few months ago, and the other one ended up joining my team! I’d say those were successful introductions. But, I digress …
Andrea and I chat on Zoom every now and then to catch up; and on this morning’s call, were discussing how our businesses have picked up since school is back in session, family issues that take time away from business and all of the other “stuff” that impacts our daily schedules. During our conversation, I mentioned I was thinking about no longer continuing my Monday Morning BizTips because I was having difficulty coming up with new topics to write about. And Andrea … doing what she does best, went into coaching mode and started giving me all kinds of ideas and information for new topics. Which, of course, gave me the topic for today’s post. How to get out of your own head and back on track by working with a coach or mentor!
If you’re stuck in your business, or in life, hire a coach or a mentor! Business, personal, it doesn’t matter. If you find yourself stuck or at a crossroads in business or life, you need to belly up to the bar and get help! Find a coach or mentor to work with and help you get out of your own head and over those humps. What does marketing have to do with coaching?Click To Tweet
So what does any of this have to do with marketing? Maybe not much, or maybe a lot. For me, it definitely relates to marketing, because it’s directly related to how I market my business. And it may be marketing related to you too, because it’s about getting the help you need, for whatever reason. I’m also hoping it’s marketing related to you because you find value and benefit in these tips 😉
The moral to this particular story, however, is speaking with a coach (even if it wasn’t during a paid coaching session) helped me over the hump and unstuck my brain enough that I am ready to go forward with more Monday Marketing BizTips.
Thanks Andrea!! Love our chats, and always appreciate your insight!
