How to Develop an Affordable Marketing Strategy that Works!

Here we are, half-way through the last month of the year.  The question is, are you ready for a successful new year?

How does  your online marketing strategy look? Or do you even have one? If you don’t, no worries … that’s where we can help.

Even if you don’t have a new plan for a new year, it’s still not too late to put one in place. It might be as simple as updating and tweaking your existing plan. Or, you might be in a place where you don’t have a marketing strategy at all, or simply need to figure out what’s working and what isn’t … and make the changes to get on track for the new year. 

Before you create an actual strategy, you need to know a few things that are basic, but crucial if you want your strategy to work.

  1. Who do you serve? What is your target market? Who is your ideal client?
  2. What do your clients need that YOU can provide?
  3. Where do you find those who need your services?

Once you know the who, what, and where, then you can work on the how!

 In today’s digital age, a successful online marketing strategy can be as simple or as extensive as you choose to make it. Most online business today (at least the smart business owners I work with), do very well with a more simple, easily executable plan that allows them to grow their businesses by building relationships, and providing quality, value-added content on a consistent basis.

A good online marketing strategy doesn’t have to be massive. It doesn’t have to be complicated. And it doesn’t have to be overly expensive!

The 3 main components of a simple, but effective online marketing strategy include …

  1. an active social media presence so you can build and grow relationships with those who need and want what you have to offer,
  2. a blog that consistently pumps out quality, value-added content that addresses the needs and wants of your ideal client,
  3. a way to gain the email addresses of those people who love your quality, value-added content so you can stay in touch by sending them even more quality, value-added content on a regular basis.

marketing strategyIt’s really as simple as that! Like I said, a successful online marketing strategy doesn’t have to be massive, complicated, or overly expensive. In all honesty, it simply needs to be created and executed, consistently.
