Struggling to find relevant content to fill your Hootsuite schedule? You’re in luck. This well-used and respected third-party tool recently rolled out a brand new feature called Suggested Content to its users. This feature allows users to enter up to 3 topics (i.e. coaching, marketing, social media, etc.) enabling Hootsuite to search the web for the latest news relating to the 3 topics entered. This feature also creates a posting schedule for you by suggesting times to schedule, and can also edit the posts before they’re published by adding hashtags or putting a more conversational twist to the verbiage.
In the Hootsuite Publisher tab (left sidebar), click on “Suggested Content.”
Select a twitter account
Choose your topics (3)
Select where you’ll publish your suggested content and add as many networks as you need.
Click Next and Hootsuite supplies you with a list of relevant links and topics that can be modified and scheduled. Delete the ones you don’t want and even tweak the choices you’ve made. Suggested Content is available to Hootsuite Pro and Enterprise customers only and is currently a free option.
