Here at BizEase Support Solutions, we love APPS. I personally am always on the lookout for the latest/coolest/greatest apps that make not only MY life easier, but my client’s lives easier as well. The newest gem of an app I have discovered is Bump.
Bump touts itself as “the quickest way to transfer your photos and files between your phone and any computer.” What Bump does is assist in sharing contact information, files, and data merely by “bumping” two devices together. After two Bump users “bump” their Smartphone or Android devices together, the application will ask for permission to connect with each other, thus the transfer of files and information can begin. This process also works by opening the app on your device and “bumping” it on your desktop spacebar.
To work properly, the Bump app needs a stable Internet connection like WIFI or 3G for the iPhone to connect, upload, and download contact information. Both “bumpers” need to have the Bump app loaded on their devices as well. For those concerned with privacy, Bump assure users their info is completely safe and no one else can see it. The application sends an encrypted connection to the server which verifies the user’s location data. The Bump app is free, available for iPhone and Android, and is available on iTunes.
