How confident are you in your digital marketing strategy? If you’re not sure about how to get it right, you aren’t alone. You don’t have to be a “natural” to have success in the digital marketing arena; you just have to learn how it’s done.
Or will there really be one?
Ever since Social Media entered the picture, marketing has taken on an entirely new look and feel. With more and more social media platforms popping up here and there, there are even more opportunities to market your business. And, with more and more people on Social media trying to get their message out to their friends and followers, it’s crowded out there. Which, is one of the reasons Facebook is making the big changes to their algorithms you keep hearing about.
Three step year-end marketing review
At the beginning of this year, I reached out to our clients and requested a thirty-minute phone call to review how we’re doing, how things are going with their marketing, and to see how we might be able to help them make 2018 their best year ever.
Anyone in business for themselves understands the chaos that often ensues when we return from work after a vacation, trip, holiday break, or break of any kind. In my inbox this morning … there was a mind boggling email from one of the vendors I frequently use, with the horrific subject line of “Only 69 Days ‘Til Christmas!”
Oh. My. Goodness!
I wrote this blog post on Columbus Day here in the US, which also happened to be Thanksgiving Day for our northern neighbors up in Canada.
I have a friend whose hard-working, doesn’t-participate-in-social-media-at-all, husband is always on top of the latest celebrity gossip. This man spends most of his day outside performing a physically demanding job. They don’t have cable TV. He doesn’t use email, let alone Twitter, so how is it he always knows the latest celebrity gossip, what state the Kardashians are in, and what movies are shoe-ins for the Oscars, at any given minute?
