Having a strategic marketing plan in place is essential if you want to get your message out in front of your target market and ideal client. There are many different ways we can market ourselves and our businesses … social media marketing, email marketing, Internet marketing, networking. You name it. However, all of these marketing techniques require effort on YOUR part.
What if there was a way to get others to market your business for you?
Well there is … by asking your clients and past clients for testimonials! Testimonials regarding their experiences with your company. You can post these testimonials on your website and integrate them into your other marketing pieces.
Traditional marketing is great! But when you have happy, satisfied clients telling others about their positive experiences your company, that’s powerful marketing!
If you aren’t already tapped into the power of testimonials, it’s really easy to get started.
Ask! Yep … it’s that simple. Ask those who are already in love with your services if they would mind providing a testimonial for you. You can send your current and past clients an email or call them on the phone – just ask.
To make it extra easy for my clients, I give them the number for an Audio Acrobat testimonial line I set up. All they have to do is call the number, leave their testimonial and I take it from there. Some clients are so busy they’ll ask you to pull something together and send them a draft to edit and send back. That works too.
However you decide to approach it, testimonials might just be your next best marketing tool. So if you’re not already collecting testimonials, what are you waiting for! Just do it. Before you know it you’ll have enough testimonials to create a page of raving reviews from happy clients and add to your other marketing publications and campaigns, marketing your business for you!
