TeuxDeux – Pronounced “to do;” and as business tools go, this one is a lifesaver for those who love making to-do lists and checking things off to keep life and work on track. Features include automatic roll-over of unfinished to-dos to the next day (this feature alone is what really interests me), the ability to schedule reoccurring to-dos, and the option to drag to-dos between the calendar and your lists. There is a desktop version and also an iPhone app. TeuxDeux has a free 30 day trial and is an affordable $24 a year.
Unroll.me – Sick of a constant flow newsletters cluttering up your inbox? Unroll.me is a FREE service that helps users manage their junk mail and subscriptions. It allows users to mass unsubscribe from the lists they are no longer interested in, and consolidates the selected subscriptions (the ones they do want to see) into one convenient, daily digest email. StrictWorkflow – Reducing wasted time is obviously a great way to save time. Strict Workflow employs the Pomodoro Technique which trains users to focus for 25 minutes on work, and then rewards them with a refreshing five minute break. Simply click on the charming tomato icon to start the timer. Then this little reminder sits quietly in the corner of your screen. StrictWorkflow is a free browser extension available only for Google Chrome users.
